Random X is a Proof-of-work algorithm designed to be ASIC-resistant, such design to be ASIC-resistant by using random code execution. Essentially, Random X is designed to be optimized for general-purpose CPUs.  To clarify, Monero mining is more efficient in CPUs. Some of the Monero mining wallets include the XMR wallet, Kraken, Ledger, and old classic Binance wallet. In case you are hunting for a Monero coin miner, BT-Miners would highly recommend  Antminer X5.

Most power-intensive ASIC miners do require an ethernet cable for connection. download an IP Scanner app on your computer first.

2. Locate Your Miner IP Address

Once connected, open a web browser Enter the miner’s IP address in the address bar. The default login credentials are often username “root” with password “root”.

3. Basic Configuration:
